It is absolutely no secret that I am a sucker for furniture transformations. I love remodeling, renovation and home tours but my true love, where my heart really sleeps at night and truly what I want to do when I grow up, is in furniture refinishing! There is just nothing like taking an old beat up relic (that very well might have been tossed by someone who simply didn’t know any better) and making it shine better then new again! Here are five of my favorites by some of my very favorite bloggers (make sure you pay them a visit, they have many more furniture transformations over at their blogs!)

This is not the first (nor will it be the last time) I link to Prodigal Pieces! Do you remember her incredible rocking chair that she called Black Beauty that I linked to over on my rocking chairs Inspiration Board? OMG I am still so totally in love with that one. Next up is this stunner, that color just blows me away! So beautiful! Go check it out by clicking on the photo or HERE.

If you haven’t yet heard of the Painted Drawer Collection I can’t wait to tell you about this fabulous lady! Her incredible transformations just blow me away and I have spent many an hour on her site (when I probably should have been working lol) Look at this gorgeous desk she transformed and go check out more of her pieces by clicking on the pic or clicking HERE.

Have you heard of Just The Woods yet? Well, I have to warn you (before you head over there) you may never leave her website! This girl has so many incredible transformations on her site that you won’t believe it! On any given day I’ll head over there and pin a dozen different pieces. Click HERE to head her way or click on her pic of this incredible desk!

I love this little dresser by the Crafted Sparrow 🙂 It turned out so beautiful and just SO sweet! This is such a perfect example of a great garage sale find that not everyone would see the value in. Her great site includes recipes and tutorials too!

The Blooming Homestead has one of my favorite blogs online. Everything she does is just so beautiful and elegant, the lady’s got style! This stunning hutch is absolutely no exception, didn’t it turn out gorgeous? I love the crosses she added in the windows! Check out her site by clicking on the pic or HERE.

And now my own humble little addition 🙂 Now that I finally have my workshop in the basement finished I am SO close to refinishing furniture again! Click HERE to check out the story of this old oak dresser that spent many decades on my grandparents’ screened in porch!
