Hey everyone, how is your winter going? We finally got a nice break from the hard core cold temperatures and actually saw some days in 30s! Another blast of cold for us this week (and apparently a hard core snow storm no one predicted that’s going on right now) but now we have a high of 40 on Friday and all 30s in the forecast after that! Dare I hope that this might be our real break toward spring? Oh I hope so! Welcome to the To Grandma’s House we go Link Party #23! This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice. (Grab the featured button following the features.)

Looks like there’s already some good reading here, can’t wait to dive in! Today I’m sharing 3 fun posts: A Gardening update where we were able to get lots of FREE bark mulch; 4 easy ways we’re able to reuse bacon grease for flavor & savings in the kitchen; and a super-helpful yet super easy repurposing project to make a pourable sugar container that cost me nothing!

Love the hop, thanks for hosting!

PS: (pardon if this is the wrong place to post this, but I couldn’t find a ‘contact me’ section quickly.)

Your popup box to subscribe to the blog cannot be moved or hidden. There’s no way to “X” out of it. So I’ve had to navigate around it to enjoy many of the hop contributions today & to comment too. Maybe this is a glitch in the widget? Just thought you should know…
