Well the weather here has proven once again that we do, indeed, live in northern Minnesota. The frosts, sleeting and nightmare wind we’ve been having has left my little seedlings in my garden looking incredibly sad and me incredibly guilty for getting them outside too soon. Life is always such a learning process and I had known I was taking a risk but I have lots of seeds so I can always replant! Welcome to the To Grandma’s House we go Link Party! This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage.

My garden really is doing wonderful! We had a frost the other night. I had to cover my tomatoes, but was glad I hadn’t planted all of my tender veggies. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

So good to hear that Lisa! All of my peas made it but I had a total loss when it came to the green beans 🙁 Fortunately I had lots of seeds still so I just planted and chocked it up as a learning experience for next year!
