Taking the house my mom grew up in, the farm my grandparents shared for over fifty years and making it a home for us to grow old in.

To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #4)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House we go Link Party #4! Last week went wonderful and I was so impressed with your beautiful posts! (Grab the featured button following the features.) This week I picked out five wonderful shares, how to make homemade cinnamon bread (can you imagine how good that must make your house smell!?), how to make your own toothpaste, how to build a fabulous farm house coffee table, a fantastic free printable of an iconic quote from Anne of Green Gables and a really gorgeous backyard makeover! Thank you all for your wonderful posts, can’t wait to see what this next week brings.

This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

I have not yet tried making our own bread yet but I am constantly looking at recipes online and dreaming and drooling! Can you imagine how wonderful this would make your house smell!?

There are so many places in our lives where I have gone totally natural all ready. I make our own laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, body butter and foaming hand soap. I have not yet tried making my own tooth paste though, I love this idea!

What a gorgeous coffee table and they offer free plans on how to build it too!

I think we all share this lovely sentiment 🙂 Another quote I see around the web these days is “now the trees show us how lovely it is to let things go”

Congratulations Tarah! I added my links which probably don’t match your criteria lol However, I’m here to support a fellow blogger in any way I can! I also added your button to my link party page. I hope this is okay? I just don’t like to bog down my page load time.

Let me know if there is any thing I can do to help out. I’ll be giving your link up a feature in next weeks Simplify Wednesdays too! xo

What a great idea for a party. My project is kind of going backwards from what you are probably looking for and things are crazy right now in our remodel but looking at some of these images and projects gives me hope that we will get there.
