I love uniqueness in spaces and a unique bedroom is probably my favorite place to really go for it. What’s really great about our bedrooms is it really is our own PRIVATE space that no one ever has to see except for us. Which means we can tailor it to our total and unique personalities in every way! I’ve got lots of plans for our own bedroom even though it is already beautiful I’m totally ready to make it totally US in every way. Its going to be a unique bedroom with boho touches as well as farmhouse love and a little bit of glam too!

For many of us, nothing beats climbing into bed at the end of a hectic day.
In a dream world, our bedrooms would be heavenly havens where we can unwind and gently drift off to sleep, but this is not always the case. If you’re preparing to start renovations on a new home, or you’ve never got round to sprucing up your bedroom, and you’re keen for a revamp, here are some ideas to take your boudoir from bland to beautiful.
Make a statement with an eye-catching focal point
When you walk into your bedroom, what do you see first? Adding a focal point is one of the simplest and most effective ways to transform the space and make it more visually enticing and appealing.
Make a statement with an ornate Murano chandelier for a vintage, unique bedroom and romantic look, turn heads with patterned wallpaper for an Art Deco feel or opt for an oversized headboard or a piece of art for a modern, loft apartment vibe. If you go bold with a piece of furniture, a light fitting or a flash of color, you can keep the rest of the design understated and simple.
Switch up your colorways
Changing the color of a room is an affordable, effective way to alter the appearance and the feel of the room in an instant. For bedrooms, it’s best to choose shades that promote calm and relaxation and to use accents and subtle details if you’re keen to inject bolder, brighter tones.
If you have white walls, for example, you can add color with soft furnishings, frames and unique bedroom wall art, plant pots and lamps. For those who are feeling a little more adventurous, colors like gray, blue, green and pastel tones work brilliantly in bedrooms. You can paint all your walls, or opt for a statement wall. This is an excellent idea if your bedroom is small or dark.
Match the colors you choose to the theme and style of the room. If you’re going for a romantic feel, shades of blush pink, pale blue and beige are fabulous options. For a modern vibe, opt for monochrome or white with gold, rose gold or silver accents.
Personal touches
Your bedroom should be a serene sanctuary that makes you feel blissfully calm, but it should also be a room that celebrates and showcases your personality. To create a unique bedroom, add personal touches. You could customize prints for the wall, hang framed photographs, add personalized pillows, create a gallery wall of all your favorite places or engrave a special date into your bedhead.
There are all kinds of ways to inject creativity and give your bedroom a personal feel. Look for inspiration in interior magazines and think about what you want to see and how you want to feel when you open the door and look around your new haven.
Many of us look forward to retreating to our bedrooms after a busy day. If your room is more bland than beautiful, there are some very simple ways to transform the space and make your boudoir unique. Create a focal point, experiment with color and add personal touches.
