When I replaced all of my cleaning solutions with natural versions I had no idea just how rough the chemical laden products are today. I have replaced my laundry detergent, all of my household cleaners, dishwasher soap, all of my hand soaps and even my perfume! My home is literally kept clean with nothing but vinegar, water and baking soda lol I do throw some essential oils into the mix for good smells but I’ve never used air fresheners.

With the natural versions entirely replacing the “normal” types most folks buy at the store I now walk down the cleaning aisle at walmart and have to get out of there as quick as possible.

The smell of that stuff now really amazes me and bothers me!

Change air filtration systems regularly, ideally once a month, for its positive health and comfort impact. Or you might also consider changing air filters before they become clogged.

But the changing frequency may also vary depending on your HVAC configuration and usage. Nevertheless, you can change air filters in this frequency and make adjustments based on how often your HVAC filters become dirty to need replacement.

In general, you should use the correct filter size, leaving as little space for any air to flow around it. If you don’t change your HVAC air filtration system regularly, your health might be at risk and issues. Sore throats, dry eyes and runny noses might always be a problem.

The side effects of home contaminants and irritants can produce similar ones, as you would suffer from flu or seasonal allergies. So for that, you will definitely need experienced heating and cooling companies in your mind.

Get Your Ducts Cleaned

Your heating and cooling system is your home’s lungs, and ducts are a part of it. So why clean the air ducts? The simple answer is – they get dirty. Cleaning air ducts is one of the top ways of reducing indoor air pollution.

Dirty ducts can contribute to unhealthy indoor air and serious health problems especially among family members with health conditions, environmental allergies and autoimmune disorders.

As you know, contaminants tend to build up in the ductwork. Some of these include cigarette smoke, dust, dirt, pet dander, pollens and so on. Cleaning the air ducts regularly, you can be certain that recirculation of contaminants will be reduced.
