Faux wreaths are contemporary decor popular with home decorators and interior designers because they look so realistic and are so versatile. Made with new materials and exceptional craftsmanship, faux wreaths can remain lush and vibrant throughout the year. They economically save the hassle of watering, sunlight, or general upkeep. Some of the most common faux wreath designs boast realistic interpretations of boxwoods, peonies, or funky cotton pods. Faux Christmas wreaths can be used for seasonal celebrations, everyday style, or a creative accent piece. Their dry duration is not limited by seasons or the lifespan of real foliage, allowing you to swap out styles for holidays and your own creative aesthetic. Faux wreaths are made with durability for daily handling, making them desirable décor points for a high-traffic area or a hard-to-reach area. Faux wreaths add warmth, color, and visual interest to any room, without any worry about dried or dropping leaves.

Welcoming Entry

The wreath on the front door is a common choice for homeowners to add color, greenery, or festive elements to the entryway. The wreath enhances the front and sets a lively, welcoming tone. Coordinate the wreath with outdoor elements, like the front door, planters, lanterns, or doormats for one great statement. Styles like magnolia, eucalyptus, or clusters of berries provide a visually sophisticated look that is easy to withstand seasonal change. Add monogrammed ribbon or seasonal charms, and coordinate the wreath to the exterior colors of the home or details in the architecture.

Interior Door Wreaths

A great way to add unexpected detail to your home is with interior doors. Wherever you hang a faux wreath, consider hanging more miniature faux wreaths, like on bedroom doors, bathroom doors, or closet doors to bring a point of unity and flow into the next room. Enhance each door with themes that match your overall look, or go a little funky or playful. A quick installation can be achieved with removable hooks or ribbon over-the-door hangers that won’t cause damage. Even utility doors can become substantial features with the addition of a chic mini wreath and bow. This small touch can elevate the feel of everyday functional doors, making them feel extra special and well thought out.

Window Displays

Faux wreaths are a lovely touch for any home, creating beautiful sight lines on the inside of the house and from the curb. When placed in a sunlit window, the natural light enhances the colors and textures of the foliage, creating a stunning effect. Adding ribbon, twine or a clear suction hook will keep your window trim Nordic and clean. If you base your display on symmetry, hang multiples in your window for a beautiful effect, then they would also look lovely in a bay window, kitchen or breakfast nook. During the holidays, adorned illuminative wreaths or ones with pinecones/ bells/ ornaments bring all the joyful cheer and curb appeal we are looking for! Faux wreaths don’t fade, keeping your display fresh for seasons!

Mantel Displays

The fireplace mantel becomes the natural focal point of living/dining rooms, and simply suspending a faux wreath above the mantel can have great impact. This classic display can be used with nearly any type of décor style or design–modern, rustic, farmhouse, traditional–the display works with all of them. For even greater impact and texture, make the display with layers of garland, candlesticks, decorative figurines, framed art, string lights, etc. Mixing a variety of materials in your layering adds depth to the display and all of it together creates visual interest! The Washington Post recommends using decorative hooks or ribbons that are wide enough to prevent sagging to secure the wreath. When the seasons change, you will be able to easily switch wreaths. For a custom fit, choose a wreath with colors or textures in your space, including soft pastels to match your throw pillows or metallics to reflect your lighting.

Mirror Update

Hang a wreath from the top or the center of a flat mirror to transform it from a two-dimensional object to something with depth. This is an excellent decorating idea for mirrors in entryways, powder rooms, and over dressers, where the mirror is intended to draw the eye. The soft greenery or colour pops of a wreath will help soften hard lines and create a lush feeling. Make sure to choose a wreath that either contrasts or matches the hue or style of the mirror frame for a more interesting look. Pair simple wreaths with ornate mirrors and take more chances with larger and bolder wreaths with more minimal mirrors. Faux wreaths are light enough to ensure you will not damage the mirrors while adding interest to the décor of each space.

Table Display

Spice up your dining or coffee table by displaying a faux wreath as a centerpiece. In the center of your wreath, place either a large candle pillar or lantern and a floral vase. This is a great option for seasonal holidays. Be sure to choose wreaths according to the size of your table, to not impede conversation or viewing. Adding more mini wreaths under serving pieces or in clusters of small glass vases is a wonderful way to add greenery. The benefits of faux wreaths are that they have low maintenance settings, such as low-light dining rooms or coffee tables without worrying about water or sunlight; they are an ideal option if you don’t want to worry about coming home to find a significant mess in your dinner plates.

Unexpected uses

Renewed uses of faux wreaths in unexpected places, or surprising decorative arrangements adds a layer of style and creativity to your overall decor and reveals your personality as an individual. Wreathed pieces in a dining room or vanities are well underestimated spaces. A mini wreath can be hung on dining room chairs or hang on pantry doors above stove hoods, or even in a bath as a small fresh touch.

To keep it cohesive, view wreathed pieces on towel hooks and vanity walls or even on coordinating hand towels. Enhance the entry, hall or laundry room areas with small accents to create an unexpected stylish look by using small wreath accent pieces. Again HGTV may have some great out-of-the-box placement ideas that offer surprise and delight knowing no corner is a rest for greenery.

Seasonal Decoration

Use faux wreaths to seasonally change decor by swapping wreaths with the seasons.

A spring wreath may simply consist of pastel blooms. A summer wreath can be bright cheerful floral details. Consider the warm tones of burnt orange, russet leaves, berries or even small mini pumpkins for fall and a winter of sparkles, ornaments, faux berries, pinecones, and snowy dust or frosted evergreens.

If you have need for adjustiability consider purchasing some simple adjustable hooks that make planning wreath swaps easy. Storing faux wreaths in wide-sided reusables (like design bags) or boxes can keep wreath collections safe in between all-occasion uses and some form of choice all year for stress free, enjoyable decorating for guests or yourself while being assured it remains perky year after year.

Using faux wreaths is one of the easiest and most effective ways to add lasting personality, warmth and color to your loved spaces without the messy or maintenance requirements of fresh greenery plants.. With all the styles and forms of the creative and wonderful colors or contrasting colors styles used in an adaptable way no matter the season, that can be made formal without all that excited use of fresh adornements. You can be assured it will always look stunning and full of life even if you are not always looking forward to succeeding in enjoying styling your smart features into or on your home.
