Hidden K Cup Storage in a Hanging Basket. Most of you guys know that I am really into non cluttered spaces. I’ve joked before that one day I’ll be sitting on the floor of my empty living room with nothing left but only what is hanging on the walls. I am similarly horrified by literally anything that sits on our countertops. Initially, for our K cup storage, I fought like heck to keep them stored up in the cupboard but it just was not going to happen. It was too inconvenient for two people who drink coffee every day.

(Teaming up in our DIY Blog Hop this month with Easy DIY projects, check out all of the projects following my post. If you’re interested in joining us click here for more info!)

So then all of our k cup storage ended up in a bowl beside our Keurig and that wasn’t totally horrible. (See before pic…)

I still wasn’t happy though.

It just seemed like I should be able to come up with something up off the counter.

I went on a search on Amazon for some ideas and ran into this basket designed specifically for hanging.

I played around between the idea of either putting it directly on our backsplash or even hanging it from the side of our refrigerator with a hanging magnet.

I ended up installing it on our kitchen backsplash using a command hook.

However, I do really like the idea of trying our k cup storage on the side of our refrigerator someday too!

Notice how we use a little touch lamp in our kitchen as a night light beside our coffee pot? Its a bit unconventional but I love the idea of using table lamps in less expected places!

We even have one in our master bathroom too!

I stole an idea from myself from a few months ago when I lined our plastic canisters with cute fabric to hide the dog treats that just HAVE to be out at all times.

I lined our pretty new basket with a red and white buffalo check towel and I think its just as cute as can be and adds a touch of red while also hiding the white cups.

Our new k cup storage is working great and was so easy to install!

Tarah, What a super idea and your counter looks so clutter free. Love the idea of lining the container with fabric. You can change out the fabric to match the season. Thanks for the great idea.

I don’t like clutter either. My family often jokes that soon I will have just 1 chair in the living room! I remember even as a child that I used to lay and look at the ceiling because it was bare, and I loved it! Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea of how to not use up your countertop space.

What a great idea! I hate having cluttered counters, as well. We have our k-cups in a little turntable at our coffee bar, but I may have to try this instead. It would definitely save some space! Love that you lined the inside, also. Fantastic easy DIY!

Such a cute idea. You’ve inspired me to try hanging some baskets in my craft room to hold things I use regularly. That will keep them off of my desk and leave me more room to work on my projects. Thanks for the idea! Happy hopping!

    Tarah,
Great idea! Sometimes the little things make the biggest impact. I love an uncluttered counter too, and never thought of hanging something from the under cabinets! Pinned.
