Workshop Office Shelves. Normally I would build something like this from scratch but with the current cost of building materials (and that its cold outside) I went looking on Amazon for a deal instead. (Here’s the link to the shelf I purchased – At only $100 and literally only four minutes to assemble it was absolutely worth not building from scratch IMO.) I’m currently in the middle of integrating my office into my workshop and so far I’m very pleased! The space isn’t pretty yet but it is so much more functional as an office than the tiny little desk I was using in our entryway.
This is where we left off. Basically I moved the two stacks of drawers together and slipped them under the left hand table essentially opening up the entire other table for my desktop and gaming laptop.
Besides that (as you can see) I just jammed everything I could into the workshop closet making it glaringly obvious that I needed some office shelves of some kind.
I also moved a bunch of stuff out of here into long term storage essentially opening up this whole length of space beside my “new” desk. A perfect spot for more storage!
(Honestly I was thinking they might not exist and I would end up having to build custom shelves anyway.)
I couldn’t believe it when I found these heavy duty shelves on Amazon that hit everything on my check list!
The shelves came in a few pieces that all just snapped together and then they stacked… wow that was all of four minutes of my time and they are STURDY!
Another cool perk is that I had an extra shelf because I didn’t want them taller than the painting. So I used the second shelf beneath the narrow table I have in here on the back wall.
It gave me a great place to get ALL of our tools out of bins and out in the open – finally easy access!
The poor closet and all of the storage in there is usable again and our new office shelves provided some amazing open storage space.
