Six more summer projects I can’t wait to build for us outside and out on our deck! Some DIYs and things just have to wait for some nice weather not only for us to enjoy them but for us to build them as well. Currently I’m sitting here in late October and we have a winter storm warning 🙁 So, hears to dreaming about next summer and all the things to look forward to building. I posted earlier this year a few summer projects I just can’t wait to build but I’ve seen so many build projects on Pinterest I had to share a few more that I can’t wait to build next summer!

I LOVE the clean lines and simplicity of this pretty outdoor bench. Their choice of stain was so rich and lovely. I could see this bench out by a fire pit or really anywhere outside with a nice view. There is something about benches though that provide versatility as well, I really like how simple this one is meaning: it is probably pretty light weight as well. Goodness knows how often I could use a “step stool” outside from time to time and this would be great for that!
(Psst – I did build a bench of my own this year!! Click here to see it!)
Ok, I love everything about this table including the choice of contrasting the legs with the rustic top! This table looks SOLID and built to last even though the construction is so wonderfully simple!
(Psst – I did build three of my own!! Click here to see it!)
Tragically we don’t currently have a “porch” to hang a porch swing in! But, someday, I don’t care how long it takes me, we’re going to! Because I just absolutely love the idea of swinging a hot summer day away with a glass of iced tea (unsweetened, of course, because I come/live in the north and we’re total barbarians.)
This is one of those outdoor summer projects that would work just as well as an inside winter project. I have a thing for buffets, I kinda love them and this one is just lovely. The rustic choices of the big wheels and the steel brackets serve both the purpose of adding cool elements and sturdiness. My own outdoor buffet that I built last year is currently housing our little grill but, someday, it will serve as a wonderful spot for dishes and food!
I simply could not add another summer projects inspiration board to my blog without including a screened in porch. Besides a cute little outhouse (because I’m very weird) I have had my heart set on a screened in porch since we moved in. We have the perfect spot on our deck now just to save up enough money for the material. I am so hoping this will be at the top of my summer projects list next year!
When I made my last summer projects list sun loungers we at the top of it! I am SO excited to be able to add my own here to this list because they are absolutely my very favorite thing that I have ever built. Pushed together they make us a four foot wide day bed to enjoy the sunshine.
