Well winter is officially not screwing around this year. Today our high is -18 degrees! WOW is all I can say. Stay warm everyone and be safe! Welcome to Link Party #124 at Grandma’s House! This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Even though it is cold here right now, it is nothing like the weather you are having there. I’m feeling relatively blessed. I hope that it warms up a bit for you soon. Thank you for hosting the party.

Wow… it’s cold there! I thought it was bad here. LOL I do not envy you.
The black in your workshop is amazing!! It goes really well with the rest of the room. Great idea… I would have never thought of it. 😉
Thank you so much for hosting. *Hugs*

Thank you so much Amy, I’m real happy with my workshop 🙂 Yep, it was officially announced on Thursday morning, literally five miles from my house was the coldest spot in the entire nation. UGH. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again my goodness!

Tarahlynn, thanks for much for featuring my “Finding A Home’s Hidden Past” post! I love your workshop. When you first said you were painting the wood, I was sure it would be another white room like we see all over the the internet. What a refreshing surprise to see something completely different and so creative.
