Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go link party. It happens every single year about this time and every single year I always feel like screaming, “ITS JULY WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT WINTER?! THIS ISN’T FAIR!” But that’s just the way it is – in northern MN there are very few months that winter isn’t on the table in some way or another. Every single thing I do is almost ALWAYS based on when winter will be here. I have pellets coming for my pellet stove and hay coming for the horses. Whether I want to admit it or not, winter is still coming and I would much rather prepare now then when its snowing I guess lol now, on to the Party!

This blogger party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

There will be features every week and they will be pinned on the To Grandma’s House We Go Pinterest page. The party will be shared on Facebook and Twitter and will be in the Grandma’s House Weekly DIY Newsletter!

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person.
* Please only submit “new” posts: they don’t have to be new on your blog but they need to be new to us!
* MUST be a link to a blog post and not your home page.
* Other link parties or submission places are welcome as long as they are within the theme.
* Make sure you check out a few other links too while you’re here!
* You MUST follow us on at least one social platform.

Thanks for hosting! This week I am bringing more goodness from my home to your table. A delicious Blue Cheese Cole Slaw kicks off the list. Then a Three Color Pasta Salad salad for a cold light summer lunch. To round off the menu is a simple but delicious Creamy Grape Salad that Grandma used to make! Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the feature! It was a pleasant surprise this morning 🙂 This week I’ve shared our families traditional baked bean recipe #9 as well as how to store carrots long-term for fresh eating. Have a great week!

I hear you re: the W-word, we’re in it nine months of the year where I live. The last thing I want to think about in July so I feel your pain that you have no choice but to. Hang in there Tarah and thanks for hosting!
