Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #169. Well we are officially wintry now with about a foot of snow on the ground and a high today of -5 ugh. To be fair it is mid December and I do live in northern MN so I guess I can’t really complain about our inevitable winter weather. Lodi has been hinting at taking us somewhere warm in February and that’s sounding better and better by the minute. We put up our first tree together this last weekend and though I am not really a very festive person it was a special moment and who doesn’t love Xmas lights? Now, on to the Party!

This blogger party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

There will be features every week and they will be pinned on the To Grandma’s House We Go Pinterest page. The party will be shared on Facebook and Twitter and will be in the Grandma’s House Weekly DIY Newsletter!

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person.
* Please only submit “new” posts: they don’t have to be new on your blog but they need to be new to us!
* MUST be a link to a blog post and not your home page.
* Other link parties or submission places are welcome as long as they are within the theme.
* Make sure you check out a few other links too while you’re here!
* You MUST follow us on at least one social platform.

* By linking up you’re giving us permission to share your link across all of our social media platforms (and an image therein) and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote Link Party #169.

Love those little acorn wreaths. But really Tarah, came on to say I note that you sneaked his name into the blog – Lodi, eh? Glad you have a little tree, and may you have a lovely Holiday season. xx

Thanks Susan, yes I finally found a nick name for him on blog ๐Ÿ™‚ He mentioned it one day in reference to what he was called when he was a kid and it just clicked!

Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 12-2 to 12-6 on my blog. On Tuesday morning were Peppermint and Chocolate Mousse Bars. Wednesday was my Grasshopper Thin Mint Cheesecake. And wrapping up the second week of Christmas baking is a decadent Cherpumple Cake. Enjoy!
