Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #171. Happy almost Xmas everybody! I’m thrilled to be “ready” and also both bummed and excited to be having a very unique actual holiday this year. My mom, aunt and I will all be without our guys for Xmas so it’s just going to be us girls. How it happened is a long story but schedules, lives, responsibilities etc. mean us girls might just have a margarita Xmas complete with girly movies and pajamas! Definitely going to be watching Mama Mia after opening presents lol. Now, on to the Party!
This blogger party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
There will be features every week and they will be pinned on the To Grandma’s House We Go Pinterest page. The party will be shared on Facebook and Twitter and will be in the Grandma’s House Weekly DIY Newsletter!

Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 12-16 to 12-20 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was my Egg Nog Pie. Wednesday was my traditional Sugar Plum Fairy Iced Cookies. And wrapping up the fourth week of Christmas baking is My step mom’s Applesauce Fruit Cake. Enjoy!
