Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go link party #178. Lodi and I took this last weekend to go on a mini “vacation” for both of our birthday parties. The view was still of the frozen tundra that is Minnesota right now but the hot tub and the wine certainly helped us both feel like it was a vacation! We had a lovely time and both regretted having to leave our little getaway. But the break certainly helped get my own butt back in gear and back to work. Winter still going on by this time of the year can be such a downer! Now, on to the Party!

CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! Chas and I are teaming up the first Sunday of every month with a themed project and we would love to have you join us! Each month’s posts is a different theme – currently we are doing it by room to really let us be versatile and creative. We have opened it up to all other bloggers using Inlinkz to make it easy for us to all share together. To get the party codes, the dates and the themes click here!

This blogger party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

There will be features every week and they will be pinned on the To Grandma’s House We Go Pinterest page. The party will be shared on Facebook and Twitter and will be in the Grandma’s House Weekly DIY Newsletter!

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person.
* Please only submit “new” posts: they don’t have to be new on your blog but they need to be new to link party #178.

Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 2-3 to 2-7 on my blog. On Tuesday was Addiction Chocolate Cake. It tastes like a giant Ding Dong. Wednesday I featured a Banana Chocolate Chip Cake worthy of replacing any loaf style Banana Bread. Thursday I featured Slice of Heaven Cake. If you like caramel and snickers candy bars you need to grab this recipe. And winding up Cake Week I posted How to Pipe Frosting. It is part of my Tip Friday Series.

Just curious, what’s the point of adding code to our blogs to be on the DIY hop? Usually Linky works fine

    • February 13, 2020 at 9:22 am

Hi Nancy feel free to include the code if you would like – not necessary to join in though! I just wanted to give all participants the option to share the other shares on their own blog posts.
