Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #222. We’ve been hit by a little bit of a cold snap that is actually more like “normal” temps this week. The last few weeks we’ve really seen some strangely dry and warm weather for this time of the year. They’re saying southern MN might not even have a white Xmas! One thing I’ve noticed above all else is that our horses and all of the little critters that visit our bird feeders are drinking more water than they have all year. I’m so glad we purchased a heated water dish for our birds and squirrels – they seem to appreciate it even more than the food we put out! Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!

(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

We’ve had the same kind of weather here. We’ve got far less snow than normal for this time of year. Keeping my fingers crossed for a white Christmas.
Yes this mild weather is very odd, I wouldn’t mind seeing some snow for Xmas too though I don’t mind the warmer temps!
