Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #223. Well we are going to officially have a white Xmas! We got a couple of inches of snow Monday night and an ALL OUT COMPLETE AND SCARY BAD BLIZZARD GOING ON RIGHT NOW – so fitting as yesterday was the first day of winter. I would not have minded not having a white Xmas but it really was just a matter of time – this is northern MN after all! Tomorrow (Xmas eve) we have a high of -2 and I am so glad I don’t have to leave the house that day. I hope you all have a lovely and safe holiday! Now, on to the Party!

CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever)

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.

Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

I will choose five features every week and they will be shared across ALL of my social media and in the next party!

(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…

Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

What a great idea to use pallets for garden tools/snow shovel storage. That is definitely happening in our garden shed this spring and I have the pallets to make it happen! Thanks for the DIY Christmas coaster feature, Tarahlynn! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! xo
