Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #240. Last week was a whiplash for us on our little farm here. Wonderfully, Lodi and I got engaged! And then, not just two days later, we lost one of our horses 🙁 Losing horses is always so difficult and I’m not just talking about emotionally. I don’t think I can do another animal this big – its just such a huge undertaking to take care of them. We buried her in the back pasture – her favorite place for napping and sun bathing. My gelding is looking lonesome but is actually doing ok considering. Our little Jazzy died of old age, she’d been with us over fifteen years. Phew.
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
