Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #244. Summer has finally arrived and I don’t regret getting a little sun burned this weekend one bit! We tackled the yard and wallowed in finally being outside in some really gorgeous sunshine. We even got the vegetable garden planted which, by my calculations, is about two weeks earlier than usual. When living this far up north two more weeks of growing time is a big deal! Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
What a cool space you guys created in your basement, Tarahlynn, and looks like a fun space to hang out. I bet some great music is enjoyed in that space. Which one of you plays the guitar or do you both?
Hi Marie, Lodi is the guitarist. I can pluck a little lol but that’s about it. We share an insatiable love of music!
Thank you so much for hosting. Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you for sharing with us Heidi!
Your basement looks awesome and your hard work is really starting to show off. Enjoy your new space.
Thank you Donna!
I LOVE your basement and all the instruments! You created an awesome and fun room to spend your leisure time in!! I came from a musical family as my mom plays the piano, guitar, trombone and harp. My dad plays the tuba. My love of music came from them but, unfortunately, all I play is the radio! lol Thank you so much for continuing to host! I think it is very important for us bloggers to remain connected and support each other and this is the only way we can do that regularly and meet new bloggers. I hope you have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Tee xo
Thanks Tiffany! All I play is the radio too lol!
