Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #245. Lodi and I tackled our yard and put up 18 panels of new privacy fence this weekend. (We entirely collapsed on Sunday lol) I am so thrilled to see our garden is already coming in! I don’t know about you guys but when our seeds sprout it always kind of feels like a little miracle to me. I’m so excited about our deck planters this year I filled them with herb seeds instead of flowers and they’re all starting to come up too. We’re working on getting as many “small” things off of our list as we can before its time to tackle the building of our garage addition. I hope you guys had a lovely weekend too! Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
Thank you so much for the feature, Tarah. I hope you’re having a great week…take a little time off this weekend and just enjoy all of the work you’ve been doing!

We had snow last week that lasted for a few days so not one seed has sprouted in my garden yet. Every day I go out there hoping and waiting with bated breath for some heat. You gave me hope today because our weather seems to be similar. LOL
