Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #246. Wow, seriously Minnesota? So, we were so excited to get our garden planted a couple of weeks early. The traditional time to plant would have been this last weekend but our weather was absolutely gorgeous and gave no inkling that it would change. Yeah well, it froze HARD last Thursday and Friday night. Fortunately we don’t have a huge garden so we were able to cover it up and save it and we were able to bring our other plants indoors as well. But, good grief! Now we have a forecast in the 90s and no rain in sight lol! On to the Party!

CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.

Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

May 2021 I worked on my garden quite a bit this month in preparation for planting. We had such an odd year this year with the weather...

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…

Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

Now, let’s get Link Party #246 started!

Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing our deck/porch refresh! It’s been a challenge working with the weather here in Michigan, as it has been crazy cold here too! We scrambled to cover our living wall over Memorial Weekend! Fingers crossed, that was the last of it.

I’m #56 this week, Tarah. Thanks so much for hosting. Whew, you sure get the weather there! BUT you know how to deal with it. Even if you had a huge garden, I bet you’d figure out quickly how to protect it!
