Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #248. Wow guys I’ve never seen this kind of weather in June before. It just won’t rain – we’re going on several weeks now. This is the first time I can remember looking at our 100 year old oak trees and they’re literally WILTING. Our yard literally just died and my poor horse is so sick of hay – first time I can remember having to feed hay ever this time of the year! Its crazy! At least the record breaking heat wave is over we’re at 50s at night and 80s during the day like it should be finally. Now, on to the Party!

CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever)

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.

Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

What I’ve been up to lately: Can rack dispensers, freezer baskets and organizers that changed my life!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…

Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

Now, let’s get Link Party #248 started!

Hay is the problem here, there is none! We do not have animals requiring hay, but we learned about the problem (and how expensive it has become if you do find some!) when we bought straw bales for a potato growing project.
Thanks for hosting, hope your week goes great.

Hi Melynda, yep we’re very lucky we have hay leftover from last winter! My gelding is one pissed off horse lol he’s not happy with eating hay at all right now and I don’t blame him!

You can have some of OUR rain! In North Texas, the Spring rains just don’t know when to quit! April-May has stretched into most of June now, and we’re waterlogged! …. Thanks for hosting!

OMG Please send some of that our way lol! So funny because Lodi and I had a ton of yardwork to do plus a lot of cement to pour this month and we joked that when we said “hell or high water” we didn’t know we were making a choice! To be fair though we can still pour concrete in hell apparently… high water not so much LOL

That doesn’t sound good. I hope you get some rain soon!

We need rain too. Arizona is in the longest drought ever recorded and the temps have been hitting highs of 117 and 118 all week so far. We are having lots of fires all over the state too, because it is so dry and hot everywhere. Thank you for hosting again! I always enjoy visiting here to see what you have been up to! Hope you get rain soon!

    Hugs,
    Tee xo
