Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #258. Hey all I had to put this party together Friday of last week because, I am so excited to say, Lodi bought us tickets to see Green Day! One of my all time favorite bands that I have never seen live. They play Monday night in Minneapolis at Target field and we won’t get back until late Tuesday. So, I put the party together earlier than usual as I didn’t want to be scrambling Tuesday night. I’m not just excited to see Green Day though as a native Minnesotan I am also REALLY excited to see Target Field! Hope you’re all having a great August! Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
Thank you so much for the feature and more importantly for continuing to host the link parties. I get so sad when I see people stop hosting because I love to see others creativity. Plus it’s really hard for a small blogger to gain any traction without rock stars like you! So THANK YOU!!
Thank you for joining us!!
