Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #259. Well we actually managed to eek out one weekend where we didn’t do anything lol. It felt almost strange to not have somewhere to go or something planned or a project we needed to be working on. To be fair we couldn’t work on our outdoor projects because it started raining a few days before that and just would not stop. All of us locals were like, “Not to complain or anything because we need the rain so bad but do we need to get it ALL at once?” And just like that BOOM, the heat is gone, summer feels over and its getting down into the 40s at night. Must our weather always be so extreme?! Now, on to the Party!

CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.

Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…

Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

Now, let’s get Link Party #259 started!
