Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #260. How was your holiday weekend? I had a different kind of weekend than I’ve had in a long time. Lodi was helping a friend by flying down to Florida and driving a moving truck back so it was just me and the dog on the couch this weekend lol I had every intention of working on a project but, besides three quarts of bread and butter pickles, I just took it easy. Hope you had a good weekend, the weather was beautiful here! Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person.
* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here!
* You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
Thanks for hosting. Hope you like my candle made from a furniture leg!
