Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #261. Well I have officially reached that time of the year where I’m secretly hoping our garden would just die already LOL! Of course I don’t really mean that but this year seems particularly worse than other years. After having to water the pour thing for practically three months it just seemed like a bigger chore this year than its ever been before. How are you guys all fairing, did you have a garden this year? Are you currently drowning in cucumbers like we are? Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here!
This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes.
Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past…
Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.
How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

I wish I could say we got a bumper crop from our garden this year but it was actually quite pathetic. The only thing that thrived was the carrots. I have such a brown thumb. ๐
Gardens were just hard this year I think for everyone with the drought and heat wave.
Thank you so much for hosting. Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for sharing with us!
I love your fire pit. We’ve been working on one for what seems like forever.
Thanks for featuring my chunky yarn pumpkins.
Thanks Janet it was a lot of work but so worth it, loved your pumpkins!
Tarahlynn, thank you for hosting. My garden was a real dud this year. I don’t know if it did so poorly because my heart wasn’t really in it or if my heart wasn’t in it because it was doing so poorly!
Jean I hear ya! This was a tough year for all of us for gardens I think!
