Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #265. Well our weather is slowly winding down and, I’m glad to say, we’re about finished with all we wanted to complete by winter. I still have some siding to fix on the South side of the house and to build a little awning over our garage side door – but we’ll have the garage addition complete with new garage door and everything by this weekend! Even siding and all of the trim! Woop woop! As usual I am not excited to see winter coming our way but I am glad to be ready for it. How are you guys coming along with your fall check lists? Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here! This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) And images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
Wow, you need to give yourself a big pat on the back for all the projects you two have managed to complete this summer. I’m always blown away by how much you accomplish.
Thank you Marie we are both most definitely looking forward to some down time!

Thank you so much, Tarahlynn, for hosting AND for featuring my Stuffed Shells. Hope you’ll like my old-fashioned comfort food favorite, Chicken Pot Pie. Can’t believe you’re adding on to your garage.
