Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #284. Well its another blizzard warning… again. What was that hope about a brutal but also SHORT winter? No, not so much here I guess. I’ve never in my life seen so many roads shut down so often – this has been just ridiculous. My boss text me, “Don’t even worry about it – don’t even try to get in today.” I’m starting to feel like Frodo at the end of the Lord of the Rings series, “No Sam, I can’t even remember the smell of strawberries.” LOL it will end and its always rough this time of the year but I’m not sure if I’ve ever been this ready for spring just for our sanities! Now, on to the Party!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

I can relate to a crazy weird crappy weather long draining winter. Hang in there Tarahlynn!

Tarah, thanks for hosting the party. I brought a main and a dessert this time! I sure hope you get a break in the weather soon. Sounds like you’ve had enough cold for two winters! The first link I’m check out is the one about freezing chopped celery—I can never use up a whole bunch of celery and I hate food waste so much.

Thank you Jean! That freezing celery is a great tip I’ve been using too and you can’t even tell when you throw it in soups later!
