Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #293. OMG Can we just get spring already?! It was amazing to hear thunder this past weekend and actually see 60 degrees. Unfortunately though, we have a high of 30 today and, of course, its snowing… I fear everyone in this state is about to go postal lol. I know we’ll get there eventually but this has absolutely been the slowest, most panful, spring I can remember. Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here! This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
We used to live near Chicago with very cold weekends and later Springs. The Winters seemed to go on forever. Really hope you see some consistent Spring very soon.
Lynne
Thanks Lynne, this has been a long winter for sure!
Thank you for the feature of Pepper Thyme Chicken over Polenta with Bitter Greens. It is a lovely dish and we really enjoyed it. I have a couple of Laurie Colwin cookbooks and enjoy the creative cooking that she offers. Have a great week ahead.
Thanks Melynda, you too!
I’ve been MIA for several weeks and it feels good to be partying with you again. As I visit the party it is snowing outside my window. WTH!!!
Oh Marie, when are we ever going to get spring!?
Sorry your spring is so cold! Hope it’s jut late but well worth the wait. Thanks for hosting this lovely party!
Thanks Heidi, have a good weekend!
Tarahlynn, THANK YOU for featuring my Macrame Bookmark this week! Have a FABULOUS day! Creatively, Beth
Thanks for sharing with us Beth!
