Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #294. Well even though I woke up to it snowing a little on Monday morning this week is finally starting to look like spring! Sunshine, over 40 degrees and a day or two in the 50s is finally happening. One huge thing we struggled with this year was mud but our yard is drying up now and the air has definitely made a turn for the better. Is it feeling like spring where you’re at? I feel like we’re a month behind most of the united states but, better late than never. Now, on to the Party!
CALLING ALL BLOGGERS!! The first Sunday of every month is our DIY Blog Hop. For more information on the themes, dates and how to join – Click Here! This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow me on at least one social platform: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter
(By linking up you’re giving me permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving me permission to share one of your images across all of my social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)
Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (I love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram when I feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!
I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 200 weeks so, for now, as long as you guys keep sharing, I do plan on keeping the party going.
Tarah, I don’t think I’ve ever made it to the party this promptly before—I’m #16! Thank you for hosting. First link I’m visiting today is the chair spindle wind chimes!
Thanks for joining us every week Jean, I always look forward to your posts!
We’re having ridiculous weather here too. One day it feels like summer and the next it’s snowing. Thank you so much for the wind chime feature! I’m on a wind chime roll and shared two more this week. Can you tell I’m itching for summer? LOL Have a great week!
We just had a hilarious moment at work, “Should we put the snow shovels away? Is it possible we’re jinxing it in MAY?” Seriously?! lol this has been nuts but I think we’re past the hump finally!
Thank you so much for featuring my Lavender Soap, Tarah. We’ve had some crazy weather here, too, but it looks like we’re finally getting our warmup!
Thanks Ann, yep it looks like spring is finally here!!
