Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #386. Well the heat wave is still going here in northern MN. We broke records the other day hitting nearly 50 degrees! And our forecast is remarkably in the high 30s for the next couple of weeks. We’ve only plowed our driveway once and, honestly, didn’t even really need to lol. This is crazy but no one here is complaining after last winter felt like it would never end. Now, on to the Party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever)

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow us on at least one social platform: Grandma’s House DIY: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

We will choose features every week and share them across our social media and in the next party!

(By linking up you’re giving us permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving us permission to share one of your images across our social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

What we’ve been up to lately: An old cabinet gets new life as an entertainment center!

An old cabinet made by my grandparents becomes a beautiful, black entertainment center for my mom!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 300 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!
