To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #397)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #397. Phew – just got done sheet rocking the stairwell down to the basement with my nephew and have officially “finished” the last of this house after ten years of living here lol. At no time in its life since 1915 has that stairwell been “finished” so it does feel pretty good. Though it was not without a lot of issues because it is an old house so I’m glad my much taller nephew was with me! Now comes the far more time consuming task of taping and mudding… Now, on to the Party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 300 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!
