Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #398. We’ve been in a severe drought since last year. With winter not really showing up we’ve been dealing with constant red flag warnings and fire bans. So, I can’t complain, the rain has showed up and it doesn’t look like its going to be stopping for the majority of May. Unfortunately it came with pretty chilly temps too so, though we need it, Lodi and I are definitely going to be gazing outside longingly for awhile lol. We worked through the rain last weekend outside and it was not pleasant but it was still gratifying. Now, on to the Party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever)

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow us on at least one social platform: Grandma’s House DIY: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

We will choose features every week and share them across our social media and in the next party!

(By linking up you’re giving us permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving us permission to share one of your images across our social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 300 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

I was so sorry to read about the loss of your Gar. What a sweet soul he seemed to be! I’m sure you’ll always feel his presence as you move forward with the plans for your “larger” property now. Sounds like you’ve got some great plans moving forward! Thanks, as always, for hosting us all!
