To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #402)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #402. Well, after all that work that was done adding black dirt, seeding and smoothing out our yard. We actually got lucky! It rained. Which is kind of a big deal because it doesn’t rain here. We’ve already had countless red flag warnings in our area since March. But it did. It rained completely and perfectly over the last couple of weeks. And though I absolutely despise a “lawn” or the reasons it exists (losing my horse, barn and septic) at least I didn’t have to spend two hours after work every day moving sprinklers around! Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!
