Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #416. Well we really tried to take advantage of what us here in north country call the “Last Hurrah” of summer. Fall is in the air. School is starting or has already started and many folks are packing up to head back southward for the winter. Thus Labor day weekend is kind of known as our last real weekend of summer. As for us locals its both melancholy and a little bit of a relief. Time for quieter days and more weekends with less plans. We had a lovely long holiday and hope you did too! Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever)

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Rules:

* Up to 3 links per person. * Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here! * You MUST follow us on at least one social platform: Grandma’s House DIY: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter

We will choose features every week and share them across our social media and in the next party!

(By linking up you’re giving us permission to feature you in the next party by including your post URL and one of your images. You are also giving us permission to share one of your images across our social media platforms and in the Grandma’s House weekly DIY newsletter to promote the party.)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

Before and After: The last piece of my Hollywood bedroom set!

Master bedroom tour, the final completion of the entire redesign of our second floor bedroom. Woah guys how many months has it been!?

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!

Let’s all remember to promote the new parties every week!

OMG my Nephew just went back to school in California and they have over 100 degrees for the next week too and we have a low of 42 lol isn’t it crazy!? We would totally take some of your heat for a little bit of summer and give you some of our cold!
