To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #427)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #427. The dreaded four letter word is apparently on its way to us from the north west. I’ll give you a hint, its white, fluffy and heavily associated with winter. There’s still a good chance it will miss us entirely though or, at least, not drop much yet and the rest of our forecast is cold but dry. As usual none of us are ready yet. It is only November and if we get snow now it could be five months covered in it! Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!
