Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #442. Its wonderful to have such mild temps lately. Clear roads and the smell of grass and dirt gets me excited for spring. I know that can still be a ways off for us. (Goodness knows we’ve seen lots and lots of snow in March before.) But spring is truly on its way and winter was really not that bad this year! Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted in the next party, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter!

Rules:

* Remember, if you share with us, you are giving us permission to use one of your images if you’re featured.

* Your links don’t need to be new content just new to us.

* Limited to three links per person.

* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here.

* Follow us on at least one social platform (we will follow back!)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!

Let’s remember to promote link parties!

That Potato and Leek Soup sure looks delicious! Thanks so much for hosting, I know I sure appreciate it! I agree with you about link-up posts, they are changing. However it is still the best way to support one another, and yes, we should all do our part to keep them successful.

Spring feels a bit further away today as we received 7″ of snow yesterday here in Minneapolis. It does look pretty and we do need the moisture! Looks like spring will be in the air by the end of the weekend though! YAY! Thanks for the party, Tarah!

Oh Laura I’m sorry all of us just a few of hours north of you were so relieved that we didn’t get hit by that snow! But we’re seeing 50s temps this weekend so I’m sure it at least won’t last long!
