To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #462)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #462. We visited our local fair this last weekend and another local festival only a town over. My uncle (who we lost this spring) and my other uncle always announced for the fair. It was a pretty sweet moment when their sons (my two cousins) took over this year. There wasn’t a dry eye. It was good to get out a little bit and enjoy summer. Hope you’re all having a lovely July! Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted in the next party, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter!

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!
