Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #472. Its been a rough one here for me lately at Grandma’s house but the weather is holding at least. Still hoping for ripened tomatoes but I’m ok with the green ones too. They’re still pretty tasty in salads and stews. Been spending a lot of time with my family grilling and trying to enjoy the warmth as much as we can while it lasts. Now, on to the party!

This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted when the next party starts, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter! We’ll tag you if we can on Instagram and Facebook too!

I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!

September 2025 – I just want to go to bed for a week

September 2024, when I lost my old horse this last March it was both an awful shock but also a relief as there was no long suffering
