Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #498. Oh guys, I know most of you already know from my last post, but I just lost my little dog Link. He had a collapsing trachea and it just got so bad so fast. Poor Link couldn’t breathe. I took him in on an emergency vet visit and they did all they could and it didn’t help at all. And I couldn’t take him home when he was suffering so much. I wish I had had more time with him just the two of us. He’d come out of his shell so much these past few months that I know he loved this little life with me, I sure loved him. Give your fur babies a hug for me tonight.

This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted when the next party starts, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter! I’ll tag you if I can on Instagram and Facebook too!

I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!

What I’ve been up to this week: March 2026 – All of Sudden Spring is Here

March 2026 was a month of extremes for us here in northern MN. We saw 50 degrees, over a foot of snow and negatives in the teens. Not totally

Hi Tarahlynn. Sorry for the late response–we were getting ready for vacation so between the prep and then actually being on vacation, I have been somewhat AWOL. Thank you for featuring out Spring Plant Wrapper–much appreciated! I hope you are doing well and that your heart is healing. Have a wonderful week.
