Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #499. Well a foot of snow later and I think the entire Midwest is quite over it. Unfortunately I had to get out and get to work last Friday morning and that stuff was so heavy and wet it was just me, my little car and a shovel against the world. I did manage to get out but I halfway expected to have to abandon my car buried in my yard. Might be time to start considering a bigger vehicle… I do live in northern MN after all lol Now, on to the party!

This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted when the next party starts, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter! I’ll tag you if I can on Instagram and Facebook too!

I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!

Oh my goodness, Tarahlynn, a foot of snow in April sounds absolutely exhausting, especially with a small car! I really admire your dedication to keep the party going for over 400 weeks despite the weather!

Thanks Jason, I can’t believe it but next week is party #500!!
