To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #519)
Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #519. I tweaked my refrigerator dill pickle recipe by adding sugar to the brine and was super worried I may have just made 11 quarts of inedible pickles. One thing about pickles is you can’t really try them right away so you just don’t know. The recipe I was using was very good but REALLY tangy so I wanted to tone it down a little bit. I tried the ones I made from three weeks ago and I’m so relieved that they’re actually pretty good. Phew! Now, on to the party!
This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
Five features will be chosen every week, promoted when the next party starts, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter! I’ll tag you if I can on Instagram and Facebook too!
I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!
