Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #521. My poor mom was air lifted to a much bigger hospital last week. She had a kidney infection that went from 0 to sepsis in all of just a couple of hours. Her heart couldn’t take it but her pacemaker didn’t go off like it should have. So they had to shock her twice. She’s ok now though it was terrifyingly touch and go for a few days. Oof. I feel like I could sleep for a week. Thank god she’s ok. Now, on to the party!

This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever) build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted when the next party starts, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter! I’ll tag you if I can on Instagram and Facebook too!

I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!

Really happy that your Mom is going to be OK. It’s so difficult when a loved one is ill. Thank goodness the hospital staff were able to help your Mom. Take care.

    Hi Tarahlynn,
God love you and your Mom. I actually had Sepsis about 35 years ago, I almost died, but God let me live. It is definitely an experience I hate to hear you had to walk through with your Mom. I pray she continues to improve everyday. Have a good week and thanks so much for the party.
