We just got 11 inches of snow! Seriously?! I am SO glad I didn’t try to make it to work that day lol our whole town literally shut down at noon and the sheriff’s offices across several counties started shutting down highways to all non emergency travel. I couldn’t even see my barn from the house! Fortunately we’ve got 40 degrees coming to us this weekend though 🙂 Welcome to Link Party #77 at Grandma’s House! This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Tarah, that is some weather you’ve been having! But sometimes it’s nice to have an excuse to just stay home. I love how your guest bedroom turned out. It is so charming, and the room itself is so unique. I think your biggest problem will be getting your guests to leave again, lol. Thanks for hosting another lovely party.

Tarah, I love the new guest room/library! I wish your grands could see the place now! Thank you for hosting. Maybe you or one of your readers will win my giveaway! I really envy your building skills; I’ve always been afraid of power tools.
