Happy holidays and a merry Christmas from the three girls here at the link party To Grandma’s House We go. Taking a break this week, see you next week when we’re going to start up right where we left off! This link party is all about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

According to my website, the current temp where you are located is -22 degrees (wind chill is -38 degrees) and dropping. I’m in Central Texas so I won’t complain about today’s temp dropping to near freezing.

While I realize that, for you, 2017 did not end on a high note; you are surrounded by family and friends and that’s a very good way to end 2017.

So, for everyone reading this post: heads up, face forward, feet planted firmly one step in front of the other and let us all stride purposefully into 2018!

    Happy New Year!

(p.s. Looking forward to all of your posts in 2018)

Hi Sandra, yuppers, the cold here has been absolutely crazy… even for us! But we’re almost halfway to spring… I think and the days are getting longer now (thank goodness because the sun was setting at 4:30). So, things are getting better and, as you said, I have an awesome support system. Thanks so much for commenting, have a great week!
