To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #450)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #450. Early Monday morning I was woken to some major thunder, lighting and crazy down pouring rain. After winter the first thunderstorm just sounds so wonderful! It wasn’t long before I heard our little dog rush all across our main floor and all the way up the stairs to stand at the end of the bed, “Is it ok if I come up?” Yes, darling, I know its scary! Poor little guy was shaking and soaking wet so he must have been caught outside when it hit. No, a wet dog in bed isn’t exactly ideal but I wrapped him in a blanket and made an exception this one time. Now, on to the party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

Five features will be chosen every week, promoted in the next party, shared across all of our social media and included in our weekly newsletter!

Rules:

* Remember, if you share with us, you are giving us permission to use one of your images if you’re featured.

* Your links don’t need to be new content just new to us.

* Limited to three links per person.

* Make sure you check out a few other links while you’re here.

* Follow us on at least one social platform (we will follow back!)

Tips to get featured: Have an Instagram account! (We love being able to tag the blogger on Instagram if we feature them.) Images really are everything, having great eye catching images is another trick to getting featured!

What we’ve been up to this week: April 2025 – gave us more snow than we had all winter!

April 2025 I'm liking this actually. Bring on the snow in April because we know it'll be gone in a couple of days! And that's what happened

Note about link parties.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers.

How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!

Let’s remember to promote link parties!
