Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #508. I had a very big black bear come through my yard the other night. Fortunately he taught me my lesson last year and I didn’t have a single bird or suet feeder out for him to reach. He was beautiful! Surprisingly he’s never bothered my hummingbird feeders which I’ve always thought was strange. Wouldn’t you think a bear would love sugar water? Now, on to the party!
This link party is about all of us sharing homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.
I’m sad to say that lots of bloggers have stopped hosting link parties but I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 400 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep this party going!

What I’ve been up to this week: Throwing back all the way to my very first Kitchen Reveal

Oh, that must be a bit unnerving having bears in your yard. I had to put my feeders aways because some animal kept breaking them during the night, I’m thinking it was a raccoon, though we could possibly have bears around too. Thanks for the party!
Thanks for sharing with us Amy!
Tarahlynn, thank you for the party! I appreciate the feature of my star banner. Take care, and I hope your week is going well.

Tarah, I really appreciate your featuring my Charm of Finches table today! And thank you for another fun party. My daughter used to get regular bear alerts when she lived in the North GA mountains. Didn’t see one, but they could tell when one had been around their development.
Thanks for sharing with us Sandra! Having a bear around is a little nerve racking but still its wonderful to me to see wildlife like that!
