To Grandma’s House we go! (Wednesday Link Party #356)

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go Link Party #356. We spent the weekend visiting with Lodi’s family and enjoying a little time away from the farm. I think it was good for me to “get away” from the barn situation. Its been gone now for a couple of weeks. The ground is all smoothed out etc. Coming home it still sure looks sad and different though actually not near a large of a “hole” in the yard as I was expecting. I am getting used to it I guess. The weather has been beautiful, we had a good time away for a little while and were glad to get home. Now, on to the Party!

This link party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

I’m sad to say that link parties are becoming a thing of the past… Lots of bloggers have stopped hosting and stopped joining as they aren’t seeing benefit to their SEO or traffic numbers. How do I feel about this? I would really miss you guys! I’ve been hosting this party for over 300 weeks, so as long as you guys keep sharing, I’ll keep the party going!
